About this tool
Generates passwords with the browser’s secure randomness, guarantees at least one character from every selected set, and reports the estimated entropy in bits so you can judge strength rather than guess it.
How to use it
- Choose the length and the character sets to include.
- Enable exclusions and the guarantee that each set appears.
- Generate, then copy the password into your password manager.
Frequently asked questions
What entropy is strong enough?
Around 80 bits resists offline guessing for most accounts; 100 bits or more is comfortable. Length matters far more than symbols.
Is generating a password in a browser safe?
This page uses crypto.getRandomValues locally, and nothing is sent to the server. Still, generate and store important credentials in your password manager.
