Privacy policy
Last updated 26 October 2026. Written for real practices on this site, not copied boilerplate.
The short version
Tool inputs are processed in your browser. We do not upload, store or read the text, JSON, colours, calculations or images you work with. The only exceptions are the six website-inspection tools, which send a public URL to our server so it can fetch that page.
What is processed locally
Text, developer, colour, calculator and image tools run entirely inside your browser using JavaScript and the canvas API. Your data never reaches the server, so there is nothing for us to retain, sell or leak.
What reaches the server
- Page requests. Like any website, our host records access logs: IP address, user agent, requested URL, status code and time. These logs are used for security and diagnostics and are retained for a short period according to the hosting provider's policy.
- Website inspection tools. The URL you enter is sent to our server, which fetches that public page. The URL is not stored with your identity; only a daily counter for the tool is incremented.
- Search queries. Search terms are stored as aggregated daily counts, truncated to 80 characters, without IP addresses or accounts.
- Contact messages. If you use the contact form, the name, email address, subject and message you provide are stored so we can reply, together with a one-way hash of your IP address for spam control.
- Administrator sessions. Staff sign-in uses a single HttpOnly cookie and a server-side session record. Ordinary visitors never receive this cookie.
Analytics
Usage is counted per tool per day. We do not build profiles, track visitors across sites, or use fingerprinting. No third-party analytics script is loaded unless an administrator explicitly configures one; when one is configured, this page and the consent banner will name it.
Advertising
Advertising is off until an administrator configures an approved network. When enabled, ad slots are labelled, never overlay tool controls, and non-essential advertising scripts load only after you consent. Declining does not affect any tool.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing. Contact the contact form Contact messages are deleted when they are no longer needed for the conversation.
Children
The site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
When practices change, this page changes with them and the date above is updated. Material changes will be announced on the homepage for a short period.
