About this tool
Converts text into decimal, hexadecimal or binary character codes, or decodes those codes back into text. It reports characters outside the ASCII range so you know when Unicode escapes are needed instead.

Frequently asked questions
Are spaces included?
Yes, spaces become 32 in decimal. You can choose to separate values with spaces or commas.
What about characters above 127?
They are not ASCII. The tool still encodes their UTF-8 bytes and flags them so the output is never silently wrong.
