About this tool
Removes every HTML tag, script and style block from a snippet or full page and returns readable plain text. Entities such as & are decoded, and paragraphs, list items and line breaks can be kept as new lines.
How to use it
- Paste the HTML.
- Choose whether to keep line breaks between blocks.
- Press Strip tags and copy the text.
Frequently asked questions
Is the pasted HTML executed?
No. It is parsed as an inert document, scripts are removed before extraction, and nothing is loaded from the network.
Are links kept?
Enable “Keep link addresses” to append each link’s URL in brackets after its text.
