Frequently asked questions
How precise is the sample?
It reads the decoded pixel value exactly, with no averaging, as long as the displayed image is at its natural size.
Why do colours look different from my design tool?
Image decoding applies the embedded colour profile. Screenshots and SVGs may also differ in gamma handling.
