About this tool
Removes repeated lines and reports how many were dropped. Choose case-insensitive matching, trim surrounding spaces first, or keep the last occurrence instead of the first.

Frequently asked questions
Does sort order change?
No. The first occurrence stays where it was, so the list remains readable. Use the sort tool if you also want alphabetical order.
Are empty lines removed too?
They are when “Remove empty lines” is enabled, which is usually what you want after cleaning a pasted list.
