About this tool

Takes one PDF and produces either a single document containing only the pages you list, or one file per page. Ranges such as 1-3,7,10-12 are supported, and the tool reports how many pages were written so you can verify the result before downloading.

How to use it

  1. Choose the PDF you want to split.
  2. Pick "Extract a range" and type the pages, or choose "One file per page".
  3. Download the extracted file, or each page from the result list.

Frequently asked questions

How do I write a page range?
Use page numbers and hyphens: 1-3,7,10-12 means pages 1, 2, 3, 7, 10, 11 and 12, in that order. Pages are written in the order you list them, so 3,1 reverses the first two.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.
Can I split a password-protected PDF?
Not while it is encrypted. Remove the password in your reader first, then split the file here.
