About this tool
Joins two or more PDF files into a single document, keeping the pages in the order you set with the move buttons. Page sizes and orientations are preserved as they are, so a landscape spreadsheet page stays landscape. The merge runs in your browser: files are never uploaded, which matters for invoices, contracts and scans.
How to use it
- Add two or more PDF files; they are listed in the order they will appear.
- Reorder them with the up and down buttons if needed.
- Run the merge and download the combined document.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. The files are read locally with the File API and combined in memory by pdf-lib. Closing the tab discards everything.
Why does a file fail to merge?
Password-protected and damaged PDFs cannot be parsed. The tool names the file that failed instead of producing a broken document.
Is there a file size limit?
The practical limit is your device memory. A few hundred pages usually work comfortably on a modern phone or laptop; very large scans may be slow.
