About this tool
Converts HTML into readable Markdown: headings, paragraphs, bold and italic text, links, images, nested lists, quotes, code blocks and simple tables. Scripts and styles are dropped, and nothing in the pasted HTML is executed.
How to use it

Frequently asked questions
Are tables supported?
Simple tables become Markdown pipe tables, with the first row as the header. Merged cells cannot be represented in Markdown.
What happens to unsupported tags?
Their text is kept and the tag itself is removed, so no content is lost.
