About this tool
Parses YAML, including anchors, multi-line strings and nested sequences, and emits equivalent JSON. Comments disappear by design because JSON has no comment syntax; the tool says so instead of pretending otherwise.

Frequently asked questions
Why are my comments gone?
JSON does not support comments, so they cannot be represented. Keep the YAML source as the annotated version.
Are anchors and merges resolved?
Yes. YAML anchors are expanded into their values, which is what a JSON consumer expects.
