About this tool
Converts a Unix timestamp into a readable UTC or local date, and converts dates back into epoch seconds. A live “now” line and relative wording such as “3 days ago” make it easy to sanity-check logs and database values.
How to use it
- Paste an epoch value, or type a date such as 2026-01-31 14:00.
- Choose whether the date should be interpreted in UTC or your local timezone.
- Press Convert and copy the value you need.
Frequently asked questions
Seconds or milliseconds?
Both are accepted: ten-digit values are treated as seconds and thirteen-digit values as milliseconds. The detected unit is shown in the result.
Why does my date differ by a few hours?
Either the timezone toggle is set differently or the source stored local time as if it were UTC. Compare the UTC and local outputs to confirm.
