About this tool
Computes a line-level diff between two documents and displays added and removed lines with counts. The comparison is performed locally, so drafts, configuration files and code stay on your device.
How to use it

Frequently asked questions
Does it compare words as well as lines?
The primary view is line based, which is what matters for code and configuration; the summary also reports characters changed.
Can I compare very large files?
Inputs are capped at roughly 200,000 characters per side so the browser stays responsive.
